in this microproject i was looking to overcome a lot of the shortcomings i had as a new touchdesigner artist, heavy reliance on video bases and overuse of effects and filters. instead i wanted to turn my creative approach on its head and used audio as the base of both pieces.

FLCL has been a long time favorite of mine, not only is it a hallmark piece of animation, but the glorious soundtrack that accompanies it makes the experience that much better. i like to think of this piece as an ode to the material, both sonically and visually.
